Booking + intake
If you are ready to get started, please contact me via phone or email to organise your appointment.
Before your appointment
Once your appointment is booked, intake forms will be emailed to you. Please complete these prior to your appointment
Ensure you have a private space with a good internet connection to attend our session in
Organise your Medicare referral from your GP if you are eligible and wanting to obtain rebates for your sessions. Medicare referrals need to be current (referral date within 12 months of our initial appointment) and sent through prior to our first session
The appointment
Sessions are 50 minutes duration
Sessions are offered in person on Thursdays at Flourish Health, Highett VIC, or via telehealth
The initial appointment is focused on getting to know you and understanding your hopes for therapy. It may take more than one session to gather your full history but this is important for me to have the full picture so I can help you create real change
We will collaboratively discuss your goals and my treatment plan based on this so you are involved in the therapy process and have an understanding of what we will be working on together
Fees and Medicare rebates
Session fees are $230, payable on the day of our appointment via bank transfer (or I can arrange a credit card payment if required; extra fees apply). With an eligible Better Access (Mental Health Care) Plan or Eating Disorder Treatment Plan, you will receive $96.75 back per session (10 sessions per calendar year for Better Access Plans, up to 40 sessions per calendar year for Eating Disorder Treatment Plans).
Some private health funds may also provide rebates for psychology sessions, provided you are not eligible for a medicare plan/all sessions on your medicare plan have been used. Please check with your individual insurer.
Cancellation Policy
I ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice ahead of cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows me time to offer the appointment to someone else. If I can fill the appointment you will not be charged a cancellation fee, if I can’t fill the appointment a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee will be charged. If you do not show up to the session, the full session fee will be charged.
